Where to begin?!?
We spent last week in North Myrtle Beach. The place we stay at is amazing and the weather couldn’t have been better. It was very relaxing and we had a great time with my family (pictures to follow). On the way back we got to stop in Augusta and spend some time with Gaga Sandy and Papa Paul (Heather’s Aunt and Uncle for those who don’t know).
Unfortunately, vacations end and that means playing catch-up on all the things that pop up while you are away. For me, that meant a very long day on Tuesday. Honestly it’s felt like a very long week, and there’s still one more day left.
So, let’s think of some of the important things that have happened since my last post. Hmm… honestly, I got NOTHIN’! I don’t get it. I read all these other blogs where people are having fantastical adventures and amazing events. I feel a bit bland in comparison. 8+ hours in a cubical followed by house work and an hour or two of family time at night. I feel so… grown up!
Mental note: must do something wild and crazy to make self feel younger. Research tattoos and skydiving (just kidding mom).

I finally got the photos to transfer from the camera, so there are a lot of pictures to view. Since I didn’t have dates for many (the camera messed some things up) I put the majority of them in today’s date, May 14, 2007. The Easter pictures I put on Easter Saturday.

I realize that most of what I’ve written here won’t mean much to us when we look back on this blog, so I thought I’d stop to jot down a few things that make us smile:
- Every time that Caleb sees an airplane he yells aiiiiiiiirplane (same thing with the moon)
- Caleb constantly is carrying around his handy dandy notebook and a crayon
- Whenever he opens the notebook up, he says “…so…” just like on Blue’s Clues.
- His favorite color is purple
- He loves to count to 3 (usually just says 3) and then shouts PLOP as he falls down on a pillow (or Mommy or Daddy)
- When I walk through the door in the evening… he always shouts DAAAAADDDIIII
- He knows the dance for “Here’s the mail” from Blue’s Clues, including the tail wag
- He savors his vitamins and chewables. It takes him 5 minutes to finish one.
- He can palm his pills and then says “all gone!” and make it look like it is really gone
I’m sure there are more that I’ll think of, but that’s a good start.
