Caleb was a wonderful pirate. He had a blast trick-or-treating. As always, he didn’t want to be greedy. He kept taking a couple pieces of candy and putting them into his pumpkin… only to take out something and give it to the person answering the door.
We had a lot more kids come to the door than I expected, over a dozen this year. Last year we MIGHT have had 3 if we were lucky. I’m glad to see that our community has so many kids. When we moved in there were a LOT of empty nesters around us.
Everything has been going well for us. Caleb is adding new words to his vocabulary every day. He also has an amazing understanding of what we ask and say to him. That has helped a great deal… he doesn’t get as upset due to frustration now that we are starting to understand what his “gibberish” means.
