Oh poo! I had this wonderful post written up yesterday. It talked about socks, and to-do lists and amazing adventures in baby raising. Sadly it was lost when I mistakenly closed the post without hitting SAVE. I tried to recreate it… but it’s hard being half as witty the second time around. So I thought I’d just let you know that I did write a post, it was brilliant and funny… but you’ll never get to read it.
On to new adventures:
This morning Caleb was in a bit of a mood after Heather left for work. The time between when she leaves (around 7:30) and when I drop him off at Robin’s house (9:00) is really the only time that I’m the sole person responsible for the little guy.
Anyway, I thought he might be a bit cold, so I put a blanket over him. He promptly calmed down, then grabbed the blanket with both hands and pulled it over his head and started to giggle. It was so adorable that I had to laugh out loud.
After uncovering his head, he started sucking on his newly acquired blanky, smiling every time he looked up at me. It was precious. It’s times like that I really wonder how I got so lucky. It’s times like that I forget about yesterday morning when he peed all over me, the bed, and his fresh outfit.
More photos are posted recently in the gallery … and I should (cross fingers) have Paul DeJong’s photos up soon. Right now they are on a CD and my version of Photoshop doesn’t have the correct plug-in to open them.
