Almost Normal Again (as normal as we can be at least)

This past weekend I went off to Unicoi State Park with the youth group. While I was away, Heather spent the weekend over at my parents, and our friend Jennifer gave her a baby shower on Saturday.

So while I was hiking a 5-mile trail (listed as strenuous), she was partying with friends and family. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE camping with the kids… but somewhere around mile post 4 I had this overwhelming urge to be in air conditioning. AnnaRuby falls was beautiful though, and well worth the hike.

Here’s where we called home for 3 days, they’re called Squirrel Nests. It’s a very different way of camping.

We got lots of great gifts from the shower. Thanks to everyone who attended!

Tonight we have a baby CPR course… something I think every parent should take.
